amma completes its SOC 2 Type II audit
In the first quarter of 2025, amma completed its SOC 2 Type II audit, which examines whether security controls keep working reliably over time.
amma pregnancy tracker completed its SOC 2 Type II compliance audit in the first quarter of 2025. It follows SOC 2 Type I and an external GDPR assessment, both completed in 2024.
SOC 2 Type II examines whether amma's security controls continue to work reliably over time, rather than simply confirming that the necessary systems exist at one point. Together with GDPR compliance, it shows that data protection at amma rests on established policies, procedures and ongoing controls.
Security and data privacy have been at the heart of amma's work since its foundation, and every new feature is built with data protection as a top priority. Getting there took the work of amma's technical team, led by CTO Boris Shkolnikov, together with COO Anna Matafonova and HR business partner Valeria Sobinina, with support from Thoropass.
